Originally developed to increase the comfort of astronauts during take off. Visco-elastic, or memory foam, is five times denser than regular foams and is temperature sensitive. In normal temperatures it is firm, but when you lay down to sleep, it reacts to your body's temperature and contours to your exact shape and position by the heat and pressure of your body. Weight is distributed more evenly, relieving pressure and helping your body rest in a more orthopedically correct position. This enables you to wake up rested, relaxed and ready to take on the day.
